1. Appeals against a Notice served under Section 80 of EPA
2. Proceedings alleging failure to comply with a Notice 
3. Occasionally (because such actions are rare) we have been instructed in cases where an individual has sought an Order under Section 82 of EPA.

In actions detailed at points 2 and 3 above, as experts if we are called to give evidence we have recovered our fees from central funds, i.e. instructing us, has cost the client nothing.  If you are considering instructing us in such an action, please telephone to discuss these arrangements.

We have a great deal of experience in such matters; each one is different, but the general approach is to investigate the extent, nature and cause of the problem, and then to report to the clients honestly what the findings are; there is no point fighting actions that cannot be won, and as experts we have a duty to the Court to Assist the cause of justice.  On some occasions matters can be resolved without the need for Court action, but often it is necessary to attend Court and give expert evidence.
